Repetitive strain injury
Although repetitive strain injury is commonly linked with prolonged keyboard work, many other repetitive tasks can cause injury, for example:
- practising strokes in tennis and golf
- marathon running
- household chores, such as ironing and vaccuuming
- other hobbies such as knitting, sewing, painting, DIY, games consoles etc
As well as treating the injury directly, we will also look at the way you use that part of your body. We try to identify to see how you can reduce the strain by doing the task more effectively.
